So I’ve been wanting to incorporate more health and fitness posts on my blog, and I think I may have found one way to do so. Every other Wednesday, I’m going to try to publish an article which will be part of my new Workout Wednesday Series. As of now, I figured I’ll post about my favorite fitness routines and any other fitness related content I feel is appropriate. Yes, I may do some posts in between, like product reviews, etc., but I wanted to explore this option first, and I think I’m going to have some fun with it.
This particular post is going to be short and sweet. Today, I’m going to tell you about the Ab Routine I swear by! Now – I’m not sitting back and saying I have rock-hard abs. To be honest with you, I don’t feel like I focus on my abs as much as I should. When I was younger, I would do this routine religiously and I would quickly tone my tummy.
Now – you may laugh at my choice of video, but the CherFitness: A New Attitude, 10-minute ab workout is the only routine that I’ve ever done that I feel has been effective. Everyone is different, and each person knows what works and does not work for them. I could confidently sit back and say that this video is my go-to. Every time I attempt a new ab workout, I’m rarely comfortable with what I’m doing, and go back to this video clip, which is part of a 90-minute VHS!
I used to have the video tape back in the day, as my mother purchased it when it was first released in 1991, but with VCRs fizzling into nothing, I’ve found the clip on YouTube. Check it out below!
Yes – the outfits are bad, the quality is typical early 90s grainy-ness, and I find the fitness instructor to be kinda bitchy (sorry), but I absolutely love this workout, and will continue doing it until I’m old and gray! It’s easy, yet difficult as hell, and you’ll feel the burn… OH THE BURRRNNN!!!!
