Highlighters. Dare you get me talking about highlighters? Applying a highlighter ties up my entire makeup look. It simply brings everything together and completes everything! I’ve had my eye on the POPBeauty Prismatic Pop Illuminating Powders for awhile now. I’ve seen several reviews and swatches over the past few weeks, and they just looked wonderful. Fortunately, I tried out the entire collection, and as expected, I absolutely love them!

There are four POPBeauty Prismatic Pop Illuminating Powders in this collection, so there is an option for everyone! Considering the product is extremely affordable, the powders perform extremely well! Not that this is overly surprising, reasonable highlighter options are much easier to find these days, but it still blows my mind that people pay a ridiculous amount of money to glow, when you could get something just as wonderful for a decent price. The packaging is nothing special, as it’s pretty basic, but the shape of the powder makes it much more appealing at first glance.
The formula is extremely smooth and creamy. There is very little fallout, so the product seems to adhere to the brush nicely for easy distribution (of course, this also depends on the brush you’re using). But – bottom line, these highlighters are intense! If you’re looking for a natural “glow from within” type highlight, these are not for you! Sure, you could apply with a light hand, but expect it to pack a punch! I, personally, love to glow so much so that you could see me from space, so these are right up my alley. My favorite shade is Gilded Light, and as you could see by the photos, I couldn’t wait to try it out, so I did before I even photographed them (so sorry if that one looks a bit messy). All the shades are simply gorgeous and they also work great as an eyeshadow if the shade is too light or dark for you.
