March Faves

Oh my goodness! I feel like I haven’t sat down to blog in ages! Blogging has taken the back burner for the past few weeks because things have just been so crazy! All good things, of course, but it’s nice to sit down and talk about beauty! I discovered some pretty awesome products this month, so I’m excited to share!

I debated with myself for weeks as to whether or not I wanted this spray? I love GLAMGLOW and trust their products and since I had a gift card, I decided to give in. I’m soooo glad I did because I am loving this spray so much! This spray is for all skin types and is a lightweight hydrating mist that boosts skin’s radiance. The spray is so weightless, I really didn’t think it was going to do anything for my skin, but my makeup has been so flawless and my makeup lasts all day, even through sweating (which is awesome!). Lastly – I absolutely love the scent! If you’ve tried the GLOWSTARTER Moisturizer, you know that it smells like orange creamsicles… yum! Well, this spray smells similar, making it even more amazing!

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation

I’ve had my eye on this foundation since it launched awhile back. I tried a sample of it and really didn’t like it at first. I thought the coverage was bad, but it also had to do with the fact that the Sephora rep gave me the wrong shade . After watching Tarte’s SnapChat (which I’m obsessed with), I noticed that they mention the foundation a lot, so I decided to give it another shot. Now, I love it so much! I am sick of wearing a heavy foundation in the warmer whether, and since it’s upon us, it was time for me to really get something good. The coverage is sheer to medium, and it’s buildable, which is great! I always use a concealer with my foundation, so that compensates for the light coverage of the foundation. Either way, I am very happy with this product and so excited to have something good to wear all Summer long!

Tarte Limited Edition Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara

I got a travel size version of this mascara weeks ago and fell in love with it. I had every intention of purchasing the full size, but as soon as they came out with this iridescent packaging, I knew I needed it and got my hands on it as soon as it launched (I was literally stalking the website and refreshing the page until it was for sale). This mascara is so, so, so amazing! I honestly hate wearing fake lashes! I want to love it, but I just can’t! I wear this mascara everyday, but I would trust it enough to wear alone without annoying falsies to an event, or anything else where I may want to wear lashes. This packaging is limited edition, and although I know I can get this mascara at any time, I must get my hands on another one so I can have the pretty packing forever!

Pixi Beauty Glow-y Powder in Rome Rose

I’m not a blush girl. It’s probably my least favorite step in my makeup routine. The blush that made me a believer…. this one right here! It’s not listed as a blush on the website, it’s a highlighter, but to me, it’s the most beautiful blush I own! It’s a beautiful deep rose shade with a rose gold shift and it makes my cheeks looks so naturally rosy and luminous! The first time ever that I’ve actually been excited about applying any blush!

Jeffree Star Androgyny Eyeshadow Palette

Another product I was debating purchasing when I first heard about it! I reviewed this palette a few weeks ago, and I could honestly say it is one of my favorite, most used palettes ever! The shadows are pigmented and so smooth, it feels like I’m running my fingers over velvet! Of course, I was drawn to the more neutral shades like the golden shimmer and browns, but it was the shade Military that really blew me away. At first I thought I would never use a shade like that and now I can’t get enough of it! It’s such a unique color and I’m so happy that I’m incorporating it into my routine.

Suave Professionals Captivating Curls Mousse

Over the past month, I’ve really embraced my naturally curly hair. For years, I’ve been straightening it, but it was time to make a change. I could honestly say that I’ve never loved my hair more and it’s been looking so fantastic. I attribute this all to Suave Captivating Curls Mousse! I use a bunch of other products to make my hair look great, but I really think this product is key to my styling regimen. I feel like it’s so lightweight and once you rub it into your palms it’s actually creamy before dispersing throughout. I usually apply the product while my hair is really wet, and use a diffuser on medium heat to style. It’s just amazing and every time I see this product in-stores, I make sure I grab it because I never want to run out!

Hair RePear Ultimate Hair Towel

YES! I’m including a towel… a very special towel! A regular towel wasn’t cutting it with my new found love for my hair. I needed something gentle… something that wasn’t going to dry out my hair and create frizz. So why is this item so special? It’s a large towel with a thicker t-shirt material that helps remove excess water, without breaking your hair. Have you heard of plopping? It’s a technique that those with curly hair use. Well, if you look it up, you’ll see it involves using a t-shirt, and while a t-shirt works just fine (I’ve tried the technique), this product makes it so much easier!

It was a good month and I’m sure next month will be even better!
