June Faves

Dare I start off with my traditional rant about how fast time is going? We’re in July… more than half way through 2016. Wrap that little tidbit around your pretty little head! It was a pretty great month for finding new products to love, and rediscovering old gems that have been in my collection for quite some time. Either way, I have some good ones to share, so let’s jump right into it!

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

Everyone is going crazy over this foundation, and I totally get why! It’s AWESOME! I reviewed this foundation a few weeks ago, so you can read the full, in-depth review, but in short – it’s amazing! It’s a medium coverage foundation that’s buildable, and it leaves my skin looking fresh and kind of dewy. I really like the texture, and even though I didn’t purchase the correct shade, I’ve certainly made it work. I just ordered a shade closer to my skin-tone, so I’m hoping I can love it even more. I have a feeling I will!

ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadow in ‘UN’

The Super Shock Eyeshadow in ‘UN’ is part of the Jenn Nai Sais Quad collection, which I also reviewed a few weeks ago. While I absolutely adore the entire collection, it is this shade that has totally won over my heart. This beautiful champagne shade with silver multi-dimensional glitter is perfect for brightening up the eyes. I just take a little bit on my finger each morning and pop it on the lids and I’m good to go! The formula is amazing, it’s long-lasting, and just a perfect color to wear with any look. I’m so glad ColourPop sells this shade individually because I know I’m going to have to repurchase this one soon!

ColurPop Highlighter in ‘Monster’

This is one of the most gorgeous highlighters ever! I’ve been seeing a lot about the Pat McGrath Highlighters, so when I heard that Monster was a decent dupe for it, I had to give it a shot. Monster is a light pink highlighter with an intense opalescent duo chrome finish. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. Most of the time I wear it alone, but throwing it on top of a champagne toned highlighter creates the most dramatic, incredible highlighted look.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in ‘That Glow’

So yeah – this proves my obsession with highlighters. I literally combine the majority of the shades in this palette with Monster and I get the ultimate glow. I know… I’m insane! But I love my highlighters… my babies! I reviewed this kit awhile back, but I still can’t get enough of it! Each shade is beautiful for a variety of skin tones and just perfect for achieving a luminous look. This palette was my first look into Anastasia highlighters, so I have a goal to get myself a few individual shades because… well… WOW! These are absolutely amazing!

Make Up For Ever Mix & Fix Setting Spray

I’ve had this spray for a long time, and I’ve always loved it, but I’ve really discovered its true beauty recently. I use beautyblenders everyday! This tool is a must-have for applying my foundation. Sometimes, if I leave the sponge laying around before use, the dampness goes away and I need something to spruce it up again. A few sprays of this fixing spray and I’m left with a perfectly damp beautyblender with a formula that helps blend my foundation flawlessly! It’s fantastic for setting makeup, but if you need to wet your sponges, or spray it on a brush to get a powder to a different consistency, then this spray is just right!.

Feeling Beautiful Dead Sea Minerals Facial Anti-Stress Mask

I am a huge fan of the Feeling Beautiful Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask. It is a fantastic, gentle exfoliator that makes my skin feel incredible. So when I discovered that Feeling Beautiful had a wide range of other skin care products, I had to check some out! This mask was my first pick and it is awesome. It’s bright blue, so it’s super fun to work with, but that’s not all! The mask dries quickly and when it does it dries up any pimples you may have while also deeply cleaning your pores. My husband was having a breakout on his forehead, so I put a bit of the mask on his head. By the next day, his pimples were gone. Even he was super impressed! When he’s impressed with a product, you know it’s good!

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm

A few weeks ago when I went to go get my hair colored, my friend and hair dresser used this on my hair. I didn’t have time for her to blow it out for me, so she applied some of the product and I was on my merry way. When I got home, I ended up drying my hair on my own and  I was able to blow it out with such ease! My hair was super smooth and felt so healthy, so I had to buy it on my own. I’ve been using this products for weeks now and I’m obsessed! I use only about two pumps and apply it throughout my hair, while attempting to avoid the roots. I let my hair air dry just for a little bit and with that, I’m able to quickly and easily blow out my hair. It leaves my hair softer than ever and I love it!

And there you have it! My June Faves! Stay tuned for July’s favorite post! Hoping my selections are even better!
