Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten

I have always been drawn to Laura Geller cosmetics. From the sleek, elegant packaging, to the gorgeous, unique shades, the products practically hypnotize me. I am always on the hunt for a pretty awesome blush, and I think I may have found one! The Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten Collection is simply amazing! A representative from Laura Geller was kind enough to send me the Blush-n-Brighten shade, Berry, and I must say, I think I have fallen head over heels for these!

The entire Blush-n-Brighten collection is incredible, but the shade Berry is just amazing! First of all, the look to these blushes are just great...who doesn't love the look of marbleized products, right? Each blush contains rich, pigmented tones, swirled together to create beautiful colors that provide a gorgeous glow! While some of these shades are so deep, and has the potential of looking intimidating, applied the right way, these blushes and shades work well for all skin tones! 

When I first saw Berry, I knew I was going to love this blush! It was very deep, rich and the pigmentation blew me away! These blushes are so pigmented that you may have to be a bit careful. I have a very light, fair skin tone and at first while taking my favorite blush brush from Sonia Kashuk, the color went on a bit too deep. I toned it down a bit with a beauty blender and a bit of translucent powder and it looked so gorgeous and natural. My advice is not to use a blush brush with thicker, tightly packed bristles.

While I love my Sonia Kashuk Blusher Brush, I found that using the retractable Laura Geller brush that was included with my blush was a bit better for the look I desired. The synthetic, soft fibers make it easy to pick up the right amount of blush. It distributes the product perfectly and does not absorb the natural oils from your face. While this may not be my "go-to" blush brush with other products, it works really well with blushes with extreme pigmentation.

This entire collection is simply gorgeous. In addition to Berry, are nine other incredible shades that everyone will love! I must admit, the price is a bit high, as the Blush-n-Brighten retains for $31.00 at laurageller.com, ulta.com and select Ulta stores. I don't like paying that much money for a blush, bronzer, lipstick or anything unless I know I am going to love it. I must say that I would repurchase this blush in Berry and would be more than happy to try the other shades from this collection. I am hooked to this blush and have been using it each day since I received it!
