NYX Cosmetics Butter Gloss

I just adore NYX lip products. I have a ton of the Mega Shine Lipglosses, a bunch of lip creams and quite a few lipsticks. Let’s welcome the newest addition, NYX Butter Gloss! NYX Cosmetics was so kind and sweet enough to send me a care package with a few of these new glosses to try out. You may have seen in my “NYX Cosmetics Spring 2013 Launch”, that these lip butters are a part of their HUGE Spring collection! This product is a fantastic addition to the NYX lip line and I wanted to share my thoughts and swatches.

The NYX Butter Gloss comes in 12 creamy shades that provide medium – full coverage.  It has a VERY slight, sticky texture, but not nearly enough to annoy me. The best part…it smells so good and I love lip products with a delicious scent! The gloss smells very sweet and I can’t get enough!

I wouldn’t sit back and say that this gloss is long lasting, but I tend to apply any type of gloss over lipstick, so that personally doesn’t bother me that much. If I was someone who wore gloss only, it may annoy me a little bit. Once it put it on over lipstick or a lip liner, it lasts a bit longer, so I am not really fazed by its slight lack of longevity. Once I do apply the shades over a lipstick, it is simply gorgeous! I absolutely love all of the shades and may need to get my hands on a few more of these babies!

I really need to pick up the shade Cherry Pie! It is a creamy red shade and it would be absurd for me not to buy more red lip shades! Clearly I don’t have enough! Can you sense my sarcasm?
