WOW!!!! Happy 1st Birthday HelloMissNiki.com!!!

I honestly don’t know where to start. On January 26, 2012, I was sitting at home by myself thinking about how I wanted to be involved in the beauty community. Without much thought or consideration, I decided right then and there that I wanted to create a beauty blog. I won’t get into where I got my name from, as you could read my "Hey Bloggers!!! Where Did You Get Your Blog Name???” blog post. All I can say is that it took some time and a dash of creativity to finally come up with something.

I had no idea one year ago that I would be where I am today. I could honestly sit back and say that I believe I’ve come far. I am not being conceited or snobbish, but I genuinely think that for one year, I have done well for myself. It can be hard work and at times overwhelming to be a blogger, but the people you meet makes it all worthwhile. 

I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting fellow bloggers who support and encourage me every day; representatives from cosmetic companies, who see my potential and inspire me when I am feeling unmotivated; and followers who never fail to say the most incredible and sweetest things. I would say that the number one reason I do what I do, is because of each and every one of you. 

Besides my fans and followers, I have the most amazing family whose consistent reassurance puts a smile on my face. Every time something big happens for Hello Miss Niki or I reach a milestone, my mother says the most encouraging words a daughter loves to hear, “I am so proud of you.” 

To my fans, followers, family and friends, thank you for being who you are and supporting Hello Miss Niki for the past year. You all keep me going each and every day and I love each of you with all my heart.
