Urban Decay Naked Skin Liquid Foundation Review

I came to the conclusion about a week ago that I am a huge Urban Decay fan. I’ve always been, but I realized that most of the staples in my collection are from UD. I have many of their palettes, all of their eyeshadow primers, lipsticks, glosses and my top favorite, the All Nighter Setting Spray. I figured it was time to try out the Naked Skin Foundation after seeing so much hype about it and hearing nothing but positive reviews.

This foundation has to be the most lightweight liquid foundation I have ever tried! It’s semi-matte finish with a touch of luminosity is simply perfect! At first, I was reluctant to try this product because when I think “naked”, I suppose a BB Cream came to mind. However, this product provides fabulous, even and buildable coverage that lasts all day. 

The most impressive aspect of Naked Skin Foundation, is that it comes in 18…yes 18 shades, so the chances of finding a shade that matches your skin tone is pretty good. When I first received a sample of this foundation, a clear plastic sheet with the different shades imprinted on it was included. All I had to do was hold the sheet up to my jawline and my color was matched. The sheet said 1.0, and when I went to the store and tested it, it was in fact 1.0.

I am usually one to buy drugstore foundations, but since I had an Ulta giftcard, I figured I would give this product a try. I must admit, that after I run out of my Naked Skin Foundation, I will be repurchasing. It is my new favorite foundation and recommend it to those looking for a lightweight, medium coverage foundation.

I noticed that Urban Decay released a Beauty Balm. Although I am not really into BB Cream, after being extremely satisfied with my past few UD purchases, I think I will be on the lookout for this one and give it a shot!
