I could not be more impressed with the Ferga-Vicious Eye Kit from the Fergie Wet n’ Wild
Collection! Some Wet N’ Wild products are a hit or miss with me, so I was a bit leary about picking it up; but for $7.99
, I figured I would give it a shot. I am so happy I decided to purchase this because I just love it!
This 6-piece collection contains a pencil eyeliner, liquid liner, ColorIcon eyeshadow quad, mascara and two brushes. I love the packaging of the kit itself. The beautiful Fergie is on the cover looking Glamorous as ever! On the inside cover, is an illustration tutorial on how to create the perfect smokey eye.
This eyeliner shocked me! I don’t have the best of luck with pencil liners and I figured that this would be a low quality pencil with bad color payoff. Well…don’t judge a book by its cover. This product actually applied quite smoothly and the pigmentation was fantastic! I have been on a hunt for a good silver pencil and I think I have found it! I am quite impressed!
This liquid liner is what shocked me the most! I have mentioned before that liquid liner and I have a love/hate relationship, and I am very particular of the liners that I use. I was kind of expecting this liner to have the same result as the Hard Candy Liquid Eyeliner, which I disliked, but again, I was blown away by this product! The black is perfect, dark and pigmented and the color did not bleed or feather! The applicator is just the way I like it, with a very fine tip, and I was able to accomplish a sultry cat eye perfectly!
This quad was the reason I bought this kit! Even though I am not a purple eyeshadow fan, I thought the shades were perfect for Fall and I had to have them! I had a feeling I was going to like these since I love the ColorIcon Eyeshadow Collection
(check out my full review here
). Are they the most pigmented shadows? No. But again, for the price, the quality is just great and I am very happy with the shades!
I have never tried Wet N’ Wild mascara, so I honestly didn’t know what to expect. But yet again, I was pleased! This mascara definitely makes your lashes look lengthy. If you want volume, this mascara probably won’t satisfy you, but I really do like how it made my lashes look! The mascara applied clump free and I loved the structure of the wand!
I am very particular about my brushes! I like Sigma, MAC, Sonia Kashuk and that’s pretty much it. I have a few stray brands in my collection, but those three brands, especially Sigma, are the ones I love and trust! The eyebrow brush is just fine…most of these type of brushes are the same and they are always good to have. The eyeshadow brush…not to my liking. I don’t really like the shape and how it applies. I guess its good to have on hand for travel, just to throw in your makeup bag, but it’s certainly not one that I would use daily.
Sorry the photo above is a tad blurry :/
There you have it! I really have nothing negative to say about this kit, except for the brushes (but I never like the brushes that come with a kit or palette…just me being picky). Everything in this kit impressed me and I am just so happy with everything! This collection has two more kits just like this, one in Fergie Ferg Fresh and the other in Glamour-Eyes and if I happen to find these two in stores, I will definitely pick them up!
Have you tried these kits?
If so, what do you think?
I decided to do a very subtle smokey eye for work using these products!
