I just love how companies pay tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and donate a portion of their proceeds to an organization that specializes in Breast Cancer Research. Many companies, especially cosmetics companies, have a special product dedicated to the cause, and as I mentioned in my last blog post, I will be reviewing products that benefit Breast Cancer Awareness.
To start off the product reviews, I would like to share with you this lovely OPI Nail Polish Duo - Pink of Hearts 2012. This is OPI's 6th Annual Pink of Hearts Promotion and each year, they plan to donate at least $25,000 to the Susan B. Komen Foundation and $5,000 to Rethink Pink Breast Cancer, an organization in Canada.
This is my first Pink of Hearts product, and I must say, I have to make it tradition to purchase this every year! Both of the colors provided in this duo is absolutely lovely. The soft pink shade, in I Think in Pink, is a lovely, sheer, creamy pink color; and the glitter polish in You Glitter Be Good To Me is a pink glitter mixed with both micro and large pink, purple and gold glitter specs. It is meant to be a sheer pink, of course, but I decided to apply 3 coats to get a more pinky color. I'm not a big fan of sheer polish, but this one certainly works for me, especially when I want to go for a more subtle, feminine look! If you really want to spice it up a bit, top I Think Pink with You Glitter Be Good to Me for and awesome look!
