NYX Cosmetics Bohemian Chic Palette Review

I feel like this palette is top secret because it is nearly impossible to find it anywhere on the internet. Granted, it's new, but its not even on the NYX Cosmetics website yet.  STRANGE!!  I had to pick up this palette, not only because of my disturbing NYX obsession, but because I thought it was a lovely palette; filled with matte eyeshadows, no less!  I instantly grabbed it while I was in Harmon Face Values with the intention of reviewing it for my fine readers. 

This palette is filled with 24 warm and cool matte eyeshadows and two blushes for the reasonable price of $20.00!  When you first open the palette, there are 18 pink, brown, nude and white shades that are extremely versatile for every type of look.  But wait...THERE'S MORE!!! There is a second compartment on the bottom, and when you pull it out, there are 6 more shades, also matte, but in sharker shades, and two beautiful blushes, one a bright pink and the other a lovely peach. 

The packaging is nice, very similar to the One Night in Morocco Palette but I don't particiularly like how the bottom section is stored.  It is sort of diffiult to pull out and a few times I thought I was going to break it. The palette is a tad bulky, but it doesn't bother me that much.  I love the typography on the front of the palette. The script makes the product look simple, elegant and mirrors the concept of the palette beautifully. 

I think that all of the shadows are stunning, but I will admit there are some colors that aren't as pigmented as others.  While I was swatching them, some were a bit pigmented but chalky, and others were not really pigmented at all. The shades in the second compartment were much more pigmented and easier to swatch.  All of the eyshadows  are absolutely perfect to use for an everyday look and you can really mix and match quite well, especially with the smokier shades at the bottom!

The two blushes in the second compartment are gorgeous and right up my alley...especially that peach one!  These are VERY pigmented and gorgeous for every skin tone!

All in all, I was not disappointed with this palette, as NYX Cosmetics never lets me down!
