That's right everybody...PART 1!!! I decided to shop some more after I was told about a 25% OFF Coupon Code and I simply couldn't keep the coupon unused! I have been seeing posts about MUA Cosmetics for awhile, yet I kept putting off checking it out. I figured it was a high end UK brand that I wouldn't be able to get my hands on and boy was I wrong! MUA Cosmetics is a reasonable UK brand that ships internationally!!! I am obsessed with their products now and wanted to share what I bought with you all! ENJOY!!!
I used to be the type of girl who used one primer and one primer only. I never went outside my realm but now I am obsessed with trying new ones all the time. I was a bit nervous at first because when I dispersed it and it seemed very liquidy. I figured that I wasn't going to like it, but I did. It's not my favorite primer, but I still really enjoy using it and don't regret buying it. Its not so much a gel base, but a cream, which threw me off because I don't believe I have ever used one with a texture quite like this. It takes a little while to dry but it does, it creates a decent canvas to work with before applying your makeup. PRICE: £4.00
I heard great things about this blush so I had to pick it up. This product comes in 6 beautiful shades ranging from light pinks to deep plums. I bought this product in Shade 1 and it is beautiful! I believe that all the colors are probably wearable for all skin tones and at £1 how could you not check it out right? This blush is extremely pigmented and gives your skin a lovely glow. PRICE: £1.00
You know me and designs and I just thought this one was gorgeous. This bronzer (in Shade 2 - Sunkissed Glow) contains four different shades that you can combine together to create a lovely golden bronzed glow. I tend to have trouble with bronzers since I am fair skined, but this one is so natural looking and really gives me a tan appearance whenever I want it. PRICE: £2.50
I am happy that I got this when I did because I checked the website and I believe it may have been discontinued! I really lucked out because this blush (in Shade 3 - English Rose) is gorgeous! Like the bronzer, it contains four shades that you can combine together. Not only do I use this as a blush, but a highligher as well, because it has a subtle shimmer that makes your cheeks glow. At first I was a little leery with the purple shade that is mixed in but combined with the three lovely pink colors, its beautiful! PRICE: £2.50
MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Going for Gold
Top Row from Left to Right
Bottom Row from Left to Right
I think MUA palettes is what made me want to check out the brand to begin with. I have seen so many reviews on MUA palettes and I really had to have it. They have so many gorgeous palettes, that I had trouble picking the one I wanted! It was so difficult to choose (I got more palettes in Part 2!). I figured I would go with this one because it has a lot a golds and silvers which is great since I needed more of these shades in my collection. Furthermore, this product was introduced in honor of the 2012 Olympics. This palette contains 10 lovely pigmented shadows and is in fact a limted edition! Some of the shadows are a bit chalky a have some fallout, but not enough for me to dislike the product! It came with a dual ended eyeshadow brush, but I honestly threw it away since I use mainly Sigma Brushes. PRICE: £3.00
I am very picky with my liquid liners! I can't say that I loved this liner (in Shade 5) because I didn't find it was extremely black and the line wasn't as crisp as I would have liked it. It does create a very thin, fine line, but I felt like I needed several strokes to get my desired black. I am a huge fan of NYX Cosmetics Liquid Liner from Collection Noir, so I compare other liners to that product. Because I love it so much, no other liner really compares. Its nice to have as a spare, but can't say I am loving this product. However, for the price, it's really not that bad. PRICE: £1.00
I was really excited about this product because I am a mascara freak!!! Like the primer, I used to use one mascara and now I have too many (well...you can never have too many)! I like this product, but not as much as I thought I would. When I see "extreme volume" I obviously assume I am going to have full, beautiful lashes. The first time I used it, I was wearing very thick black liner on the lids and the liner overpowered the mascara a bit, so that is what threw me off. However, today, I wore the mascara with a little bit of lash primer and a thinner line on the lid and my lashes were more prominent. Not extreme, but enough to pack a punch. PRICE: £2.00
This is a great lipgloss. First of all, I love the color. I got Shade 4, a gorgeous pink/rose color that really completes a natural look and its not sticky at all. Some of the glosses have a bit of shimmer, which I don't like, so I picked the one with the least. It makes my lips feel very soft and moisturized. I wouldn't say it is long wearing, but it is pigmented and good enough for me. The best part...IT SMELLS LIKE CAKE :) PRICE: £1.00
I think I am in love! I got Shade 3 and it is perfect for the lip I have been going for all summer! I am into bright or neon pinks and this one is just perfect. Its a bright raspberry shade that is so much fun and long lasting! Some of the shades have shimmer in it, and I tried to steer clear of those since I am not much of a shimmer fan, but this one has a lovely satin finish and certainly works for me! PRICE: £1.00
I was a little iffy about this one at first. This product, in It's a Situation is dual ended, with a matte lipstick on one side and a glitter lip gloss on the other. The lipstick side of the product isn't what I was worried about. The lipstick is absolutely amazing; a beautiful berry color that I cannot wait to wear more in the Fall! At first I thought the glitter side was too glittery for me, but I decided to try it out, and I was proven wrong. I put a little bit on over the lipstick and I can honestly say that I rocked it! It was more subtle than I thought and it gave my lips the right amount of shimmer without overpowering the color of the lipstick. PRICE: £3.00
Like the primer, I was a bit nervous with this product at first. First of all, it very very small. Granted for £1 you can't really go wrong, but I was a bit surprised since the other products were a decent size. When I opened the bottle, the brush was a bit frayed and I thought I was going to have some issues with the application process. I was prepared to be disappointed, but I wasn't! The brush was actually more precise than any of the brushes I have ever tried and the color went on so evenly. With only two coats I got the desired color I was looking for and I couldn't be happier! I am disappointed in myself, however. Every time I paint my with a new color, I take a photo and put it up on Instagram for the world to see. For some reason, this time, I neglected to do that, so I don't have an actual swatch of the polish. But...I did paint it on one of my nail wheels in hopes that it will do. PRICE: £1.00
So there you have it! I am obsessed with this brand! I am excited to review my second order because I got just as much, if not more! What did I get??? You just have to wait and see!!!
