Beauty Blogger Get to Know Me Tag

This is really really late, but I saw that the lovely Beauty Makeup Addict did this tag, and since she tagged anyone who wanted to join, I figured I would join in on the fun!  It's been awhile since I've done one of these, so lets jump in, shall we?  ENJOY!!!

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

My hair is naturally curly

2. What is your natural hair colour?

Oh man...its been so long, I think I have forgotten!  Nah...I'm gonna say light brown :)

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

My amazing sister-in-law is a hairdresser, so I have my own personal stylist!

4. How often do you wash your hair?

About every other day if it's straight and everyday if it's curly

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?

I usually wear the same style.  I honestly don't think I have an eye for fashion, so I keep it basic.

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?

I do my own nails.  I don't really have the patience to sit in a nail salon.

7. How often do you change your nail polish?

At least three times a week!

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just in the summer?

I always make sure my toes have polish on them!  It scares me to look down at my feet without something on my nails HAHA

9.  How long does it take you to put on your makeup?

It depends.  If I am lazy, about 15 minutes, if I really want to take my time 30-45 minutes.

10. What do you do first, face or eyes?

I start with my face and put on foundation, go to the eyes, then go back to the face and powder it up.  

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you  need when you need it?

I have an obsession, so I collect it.  More than half the stuff I have, I rarely use :/

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?

Special Occasions.  My eyes water easily so I avoid it unless its an event or night out.

13. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?

Yes I do!  Sometimes on weekends, I will give my skin a break, but I never leave for work without makeup.

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone, or with family?

Not when I am home alone, but with family, yes...most of the time.

 15. Will you leave the house without makeup?

Of course.  Sometimes your skin needs a break.

 16. How many high end products do you have?

I have a bit of high end products.  I have more drugstore, but since I started beauty blogging, I buy more high end things so I can try them out. 

 17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?

Maybe once a week, although sometimes longer because I get a tad lazy :/

18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?

I decide when I sit down and I'm about to start.  

19. How often do you change your handbag?

I have one handbag for everything.  I have a few in my closet, but I usually stick with the same one until I get a new one, which is rare.

20. What time do you get up and go to sleep?

I go to sleep anywhere from 9PM - Midnight.  I usually get up anywhere from 6AM - 6:45AM.  Unless its the weekend, in which that case it varies.

21. How often or when do you work out?

I used to be a beast at the gym!  The problem was, I burnt myself out.  I was going 5 days a week and loving it and then I began to slack off and I haven't gone in months.  I really need to get back...at least 3 days a week.

22. Left-handed or right-handed?

Righty

23. How tall are you?

I'm about 5'10

24. Do you speak a foreign language?

Nope!  I took Spanish for 6 years, and don't remember a thing.  I know a little bit of Italian, but thats about it. 

25. How many pets do you have?

I have my one and only Olive.  My husband and I rescued her in February 2011, and adopting her was one of the best decisions of my life.

 26. How often are you on blogger?

I am on blogger every single day!  I post about 2-3 times a week, but go on everyday to check comments and other beauty blogger's articles.

27. Do you read the comments posted on blogs?

Absolutely!

 28. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?

Yup!  I use my little stickies program on my Mac book and have a list at the corner of my computer screen.

 29.  How did you come up with your blog name?

It's a long, very strange story.  As a matter of fact, I posted a blog about it a few months ago!  Check it out HERE!!!

 30. What kind of camera do you use for photographs?

My iPhone.  I have a little Nikon point and shoot but I feel it doesn't capture the colors of my makeup looks or swatches.

 31. How often do you clean your house?

I would like to say once a week, but I would be lying...maybe every 2.  I keep up throughout the two weeks though!

32. What is your favourite colour?

RED RED RED RED RED (which does not explain why my blog is pink)

33. Do you swear?

Yup...yup I do.  I try to cut down though...it never seems to work.

35. What are you doing with the rest of your day?

Relaxing!!! Love having lazy Sundays :)
