I proclaim this week Hair Week for Hello Miss Niki!!! Of course, its no international holiday, but I figured I would do something a little different on the blog for a few days.
Hair isn't quite my expertise. I honestly have no patience to do my hair or try different things...or so I thought! I looked at some photos of my hair over the years and realized I have indeed had quite a bit of hairstyles. I always laugh at my mother when I look through old photos and notice that in every picture she has a different hair cut and color. I have come to terms that I am turning into my mother when it comes to hair!
I figured this week I would share with you some of my favorite hair products, tools, etc. For now I will leave you with a timeline of how my hair has changed over the years!
I have gone back and forth between long and shoulder length, dark and blond and its hard to keep track! Luckily, my sister-in-law is a hairdresser, so she can endure my craziness when it comes to my ever changing hair colors. For the record, I have been red as well, but I don't have any pictures of that time period...THANK GOD! I have even had all of my hair colors all at once! Yup...thank you Sun In for destroying my hair for 3 years of my life! Now I look back and I had Ombre Hair...who knew it would be in these days :)

Wow, just comparing the straight blonde in your 2010 picture and that of 2012 -- hair truly changes how one look! And luck you to be pretty on both ends ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't often change my hair color/style to be honest... I'm quite afraid to step out of my "comfort-zone" which is short shoulder length dark brown hair. BORING. But I can't help it :p
Am venturing towards having long hair (first time in my 18years!!) though so I hope this will open me up to more variety of hair styles ^^
its nice to change it up a bit. i would love to go back to bangs, but i dont know if i am brave enough to or have the patience! i understand the whole comfort zone thing...although it may not seem that way with this post :)

You could say I change my "style" (don't even want to call it that because like you I have absolutely no hair expertise whatsoever!) every year, but it's more the hair cut than anything else. I have curly hair but I like it straight so I pretty much blow dry it every day and flat iron the rebel hairs LOL During summer is too hot to use heat tools so I just wear it wavy. I haven't changed colours that much, I used to have highlights, which I really liked but they destroyed my hair and then I went totally black and loved it but as time went by I got fed up with it so I chopped off my hair and now, several years after I have my natural colour again.

Deletewow, I can't believe how many times you've changed your hairstyle... the current looks fabulous. I wish I'd be as bold as you. My hair has been the same for years. Something that other people might refer to as a Virgin Hair, LOL!
