MAC Cosmetics Heavenly Creatures Collection Review

I must say, these constant releases of collections from all cosmetic companies can be quite overwhelming!  There are so many new products that I want to try and so little time (and ::cough, cough:: money!)  Oh what I would give to spend my day playing with new products to review!  Perhaps in time!  MAC Cosmetics has released another lovely collection on July 5 called Heavenly Creatures.  They released a bunch of new products, but this time around, I didn’t go nuts and only bought three products to share with you all.  Not because I didn’t like the collection, I think it is lovely, but because there was just soooo much AND I am holding out for the Marilyn Monroe Collection that will be released this Fall (I CANNOT WAIT!!!).  Just because I bought only three items from the collection, it doesn’t mean that I cannot share with you all the products from this line! 

The packaging is just like any other Mac Product, but the design of the powdered products in the collection are colorful and mineralized with instantly draws people’s curiosity!  The shades are lovely with beautiful blend of eye shadows, Mineralize Skinfinishes and blushes as well as lipsticks, cream sheens and a new skin care collection.  I decided to pick up three of the shades that I knew I would use the most and I couldn’t be happier with my selection.

This eye shadow in Invincible Light is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!  Its subtle swirls of color sitting in the pot as is grabbed my attention right away!  I put some of this on my lid and added some MAC Copperplate eye shadow and it was BEAUTIFUL! I wanted to grab this shade because it was really the best for everyday.  The other colors are beautiful, bold and bright, which I loved!  There was a bit of fallout, which was not a problem for the light color that I grabbed, but for the darker shades (like Water and Sky [shown below]) it may be a tad of an issue for some people.  Because the colors are unique, I can certainly get past that!

The Mineralize Skin Finish in Light Year is my new favorite Mac Product!  Again, the swirls of color appealed to me and out of the four other skinfinishes, this one seemed the most wearable.  Furthermore, I believe it may be the most popular of the skinsinish collection since I grabbed the last one only a day after its release!  When I took this home and applied it, my skin glowed!  The lovely pink and peach tones made my skin bright and the swirl of glow highlighted perfectly! 

Lastly, I picked up the new Cream Sheen in Galaxy Rose...my first Cream Sheen lip gloss.  I know…a sin!  I have mentioned before that I have only started building my Mac Collection recently, so don’t have as much as I would like.  I am happy to say that I love cream sheens.  They are not heavy on the lips and it doesn’t have a sticky texture.  The color is beautiful and makes my lips feel so bright.  I chose this one because I felt it was the most wearable.  The other ones had a bit of shimmer and if it wasn’t that, it was a color that I just wasn’t crazy about.  I would have bought a lipstick, but nothing really grabbed my attention, so I figured I would pass.  They were lovely colors, but I have shades very similar to those in my collection already.

That’s all I have for you with what I purchased!  Can’t buy them all right?  At least I got something!  I have my eye on a few other things from this collection, so I will grab more another time, but in the meantime, check out what other products are apart of this collection!  I think you will be very impressed!  ENJOY!!!

Lovely collection, am I right?  The eyeshadows, blush and skinfinishes is what really impressed me!  I just love the blend of colors in each product!  Its so beautiful and unique!
