Hard Candy Cosmetics Haul

There are so many brands out there that I haven't tried or know anything about! So many items available and so little time...it gets quite overwhelming!  Hard Candy Cosmetics is one of these brands that I have heard about for years, but never took the time to try out.  I had no idea if it was high or low end, where you can purchase it or if it was any good.  If you remember, a few months ago, Kakuidori was kind enough to send me some Catrice Cosmetics products all the way from Germany (see my full review here).  She e-mailed me the other day and mentioned that she wanted to try Hard Candy Cosmetics.  Her request helped me discover some lovely products! The best part...Hard Candy is sold at Walmart! Walmart's slogan is Save Money, Live Better, which means that these products are extremely reasonable!!! 

Here are some cosmetics that I picked up.  I figured I would review them and share my thoughts with you all :)

Hard Candy Show Girl's Secret Glitter Glue

Lash Glue Adhering to Silver Glitter

I have never owned a glitter glue before, I guess because its rare that I use glitter as part of my makeup routine.  However, I always love to experiment with different looks and when I do, a fun glitter look is one of them.  I saw this and figured I would give it a shot because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a glitter glue I know I am not going to use to often.  I have nothing to compare this to, but this glue is awesome!  By putting a few drops into the cap and using the tiny brush that was included, this adhesive helps glitter stick without much fallout!  I was extremely impressed with this product and I cannot wait to use this glue for a funky look!  For more information, click here!

Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush in Pin-Up (126)

THIS BLUSH IS AMAZING!!!! I was a bit nervous because it looked so dark, but once its applied, it gives your skin such a lovely glow!  Its a very pearly deep pink color and I just love it! I have never owned a blush in a shade quite like this before, and I must say, it is truly unique!  Not only that, but the design in stunning!  For more information, click here!

I have the same feelings about this bronzer, as I do the blush!  Oh my GAWD how gorgeous! I like Hula Hula a bit more than Tiki, only because I usually like my bronzers a bit matte, but thats okay.  Its still really pretty!  I would honestly use Hula Hula as more of a highlighter as it is waaaayyy to light to be a bronzer in my opinion.  Either way, I love both of these, as they give you a lovely sun-kissed look! I wanted to love these eyeshadows.  I really really REALLY wanted to.  But I was not too crazy about them! They were highly pigmented, but they didn't go on as glittery as I would have liked. The swatches look pretty good, but it took some time to get the desired color that I wanted to show you all.  Furthermore, I don't know if I was crazy about the texture.  It was very rough because of the glitter, which tends to be very loose, creating quite a bit of fallout.  Perhaps if I applied them wet, they would have come out differently, but I have yet to try that technique.  This does not mean I regret buying them.  They were inexpensive and they are just so dang pretty to look at!!! Hard Candy Walk the Line Liquid Eyeliner in Asphalt

I am simply tickled to say that I have mastered the art of liquid eyeliner!  It has taken me a lot of time and practice, but I now do it all the time with litter error and I am so happy! TOOK ME LONG ENOUGH!  So again, I wanted to love this liner, but I did not like it at all.  The packaging is very cool, but that did not distract me from the quality of the product.  First of all, the consistency is extremely liquid based...too liquid-y for my taste.  It also went on extremely thick, and what I mean by that is it was difficult to create a thin line.  Although it has a fine tip, it was not thin enough to create a subtle cat eye...I think that had to do with the watery texture.  Lastly, it bleeds a lot...as you can see in the photo, it is not a clean, crisp line.  The black is very black, but it was just too difficult to use.  Sorry Hard Candy...I tried :/  For more information, click here.

Hard Candy 1,000 Lashes - Fiberized Lash Weave Primer

Back to being my positive self, I LOVED THIS!!! I haven't used an eyelash primer in years!  I used to use Urban Decay and after awhile, I just lost interest and stopped purchasing it.  When I saw this, I figured I would give lash primer another try and I'm happy I did!  When I first opened it, I was a bit nervous because it looked a tad clumpy.  I felt like I was shot down right away.  But when I decided to give it a try, I was so pleased!  It really separates my lashes and makes them look full and beautiful!  I'm not really into the packaging, as I like the typical mascara tubes for this kind of thing, but the product inside is just wonderful!  For more information, click here!

Hard Candy Lashaholic Big Bad Lashes Super Volume Mascara in Blackest Black

I really wanted to like this mascara and I didn't like it at all.  I LOVED IT!!!  Almost got ya there!  First off, how cute is that packaging?  Awesome right!?!  The applicator is curved to work nicely with your lashes and it certainly did!  My eyelashes looked full and lovely all day long! Furthermore, it works great with the Hard Candy Lash Primer!  Here are a few pics I attempted to take with my iPhone. WARNING: MY EYEBROWS LOOK TERRIBLE!!! In my defense, I was going to get them reshaped an hour after I took these photos!  They look human again...I PROMISE!!!

Hard Candy Plumping Serum Volumizing Lip Gloss in ???

Thats right...I have no clue what color this is! I ripped the sticker off before bothering to look!  I tried to look online, but there are a few colors that look similar and I couldn't figure it out.  I don't have many lip plumping products in my collection...maybe just one other.  I have used quite a few of them though, and the reason I steer clear of it, is because I don't love the sensation.  Sometimes, plumpers can make your lips burn and I don't like to feel that conscience of a lip product.  I didn't realize that this was a lip plumper when I grabbed it.  Walmart didn't have any other lipsticks or glosses, as they were all sold out, and I wanted to try something for my lips.  I was a bit bummed at first when I swatched it because it was very sheer.  It didn't have as much as the peachy tint as I had hoped.  However, I did use it over a nice matte lip gloss and I found it to be lovely!  And there was very little sensation.  It tingled a bit, but it was completely bearable!  I would definitely buy this color again, and I would be willing to try their other shades.  For more information, click here!

Soo...how was that review for ya?  I usually do haul videos, but I did a poll on Twitter about product reviews, and my followers said they prefer reading reviews rather than watching a video. So, I figured a long detailed review was in order!  Needless to say, I am a huge fan of Hard Candy Cosmetics now!  I am so thrilled that they are reasonably priced, I am happy to report that they do not test on animals, and I love the fact that I live close to a Walmart and can go pick some more up whenever I want.  I MUST BUY MORE!!!
