Beauty Army Kit - June 2012

Everyday, I become more and more of a Beauty Army Fan!  Not only do I love their great selections, but I love chatting with them on Facebook and Twitter!  Their interaction with followers is fantastic and its as if you have a "friend" rather than a "company" cooresponding with you!  Besides my close relationship via social media with Beauty Army, once again, I am enjoying the products that I selected for my June 2012 Box.  I didn't do a video for this box, as I won't be doing anymore for beauty boxes moving forward.  I feel a written review is more beneficial for my readers.  I hope this is alright!

Kellett Skincare Clarifying Acne Treatment

I enjoy receiving samples from this company.  I believe I have chosen a sample from them each month and everytime I am pleased.  This time, they had sent me an Acne Treatment and its wonderful.  I get bouts of acne on my forehead and chin.  I believe it is stress related, and its very difficult to find something that will work without drying my skin.  By taking a pea sized amount on my finger and massaging it into the infected area, it soothes the acne and quickly makes it disappear.  I used it for a few days and almost instantly, the pimples and redness subsided.  I was really surprised to see how quick it worked.  The one downside, the full sized product is $75.  A tad steep for me.  However, if I continue using this sample and am still happy with it, I may splurge due to the fact that its the only product that has made a noticeable difference.

Eau de Parfum Vaporisateur Juicy Jewel 

I am not a huge fan of receiving perfume samples but unfortunately, after I chose my 5 samples, I didn't have a choice but to choose a perfume as my sixth.  I am very picky with my perfumes, as I have been using the same one since high school.  However, I am happy with this product.  It smells lovely, subtle and fresh with a scent consisting of exotic fruits and flowers.  I am not very good at describing perfume, so lets just keep this one short.

Mineral Primer Youngblood 

I am a huge fan of primer and love trying out different ones all the time.  When I saw this as a selection, I was so excited!  I have never heard of this brand before, so I am always up to exploring with new ones!  I really loved this product!  I am not a huge fan of the packaging, as it is difficult to disperse the product at first, but that may not be the case for the full sized version.  Nonetheless, this does not distract me from the product itself.  This cruelty free product is packed with vitamins and minerals and has a very smooth texture. This lightweight formula feels very soothing when applying it to the face and I feel it moisturizing my skin at the same time, creating a clean canvas before applying makeup.  The downside, I am not a fan of the smell.  However, it helps my makeup stay put througout the day, and I was very happy with it!

Apothederm Stretch Mark Cream

I mentioned in my last Beauty Army Kit review that I chose a stretch mark product that was meant for pregnant ladies and their growing bellies.  I am honestly not sure why I keep choosing these stretch mark products because clearly I am not with child.  I did some research and found other reviews that may be helpful since I didn't test this product out first hand.

Overall, this product received 4.5 out of 5 stars. I will again give this products to my pregnant sister-in-law to play with.  She has been using the last one I gave her, so why not bequeeth this one to her as well?

I like getting lotions and motisurizers in my kit because I like trying different ones.  I haven't used this product too much, not because I don't like it, but because there is always that one product that I keep forgetting I have. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was great.  Its lightweight formula made my skin feel nice and smooth and it certainly did not leave my hands feeling greasy, but healthy and hydrated.  I would compare this to a higher end version of Curel, but without the strong scent.  

Besame Cosmetics Crimson Cream Rouge

So a few weeks ago, Beauty Army posted about this product saying how much she was enjoying it.  I was really excited but figured I wouldn't get to choose the sample until next month, if that.  Turns out, I chose it in for June's kit and didn't even realize it.  Damn, I am totally scatterbrained!  I was so excited when I noticed that it was in my kit because I really really REALLY wanted to try it.  I have not used this product on my cheeks because it is way to red for my skin, but on my lips, it is wonderful!  I love using it alone, when creating a very natural look or applying some lip gloss over it to make it pop a little.  I love it!  And seriously, I don't see myself running out of it anytime soon!  Its a small sample, but you really don't need to apply a lot of the product to get the desired red lip you are looking for.  I will have this forever, and when I run out, I plan on purchasing it!  Plus, the full sized product's packaging design is beautiful! Apparently, they have an entire cosmetics line!  Beauty Army is in love with their red lipstick! I MUST TRY IT!!!

So there you have it!  Beauty Army does it again and I couldn't be happier with my selections.  I look forward to choosing my samples each month, and count down the days when I get my notification e-mail stating my box was shipped!  I love getting presents each month!
