In future blogs, I want to demonstrate some fun nail art tutorials, but first, I want to share with you all the basics of how to give yourself a professional manicure. Although simple, I figured that I would make a video with step-by-step instructions and comentary. Below is a photo of what you are going to need in order to start.

And there you have it...a perfect mainicure that looks polished and clean! Throughout the couple of days you have your polish on, you will need to do touch ups here and there, especially if you are wearing a low end product. However, no matter what product you have on, if you keep up with touch-ups and avoid long-term water exposure, you should be fine for at least a week. Throughout that week, your cuticles can expeierence quite a bit of damage. To avoid this, you can use a cuticle butter (as seen below) I LOVE using the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream because it makes your cuticles very soft and it smells amazing too!
Enjoy your PERFECT manicure and I will be back with some more FUN nail tutorials and product reviews soon!
